Why we built CtrlOne
Founded in 2022, CtrlOne was created to make enterprise-grade Windows device control something a small team can run from a browser. A single signed agent enforces hundreds of named restrictions, an auto-scheduler applies and removes them on a timetable, and a web console pushes policy to hundreds of PCs at once - with no on-prem infrastructure and no Active Directory requirement.
Everything is enforced through Windows' own policy and service mechanisms. The agent is tamper-resistant and fails closed when a device goes offline, but it never renames executables, deletes application files, or patches binaries.
